Captain Whats there name punches their way out of a wet paper bag!

Why and when is violence acceptable? And more importantly, why? Our society often treats the answer as self-evident. Violence is always okay, except when it’s not. It's reassuring that media now tells us a "hero" can be any race, gender, nationality, or creed, but they still solve their problems with force. The question is left lingering.hy is violence so often the only solution?
